I do not currently receive any money or other consideration from any military or propaganda agency.
Historical
Al Jazeera: In 2013, I wrote an article on Brazilian industrial development which was published in Al Jazeera, which is funded in part by the government of Qatar, and considered by some to be a voice of pro-Sunni, anti-Shia, propaganda.
US Defense Department: I was a member of the Highlands Forum, and have performed paid consulting for the DoD office of Policy, and received research grants from DARPA, all on topics related to cyber-defense and infrastructure resilience.
Singapore Ministry of Defence: I have performed paid consulting for the Singaporean Ministry of Defense and precursors to the Singaporean Cyber Security Agency, all on topics related to cyber-defense and infrastructure resilience.
